Racing the McDowell Meltdown will be a new, never before done experience. Why? The park has given MBAA permission to run the loops in reverse of normal. However, we do not have permission for anyone to ride the loops in reverse until Saturday, January 5. At that time, the entire competitive track will be marked reverse of what it has been. It will remain that way until after the race on the 19th. Guess this will make some people happy and others not happy. You are being asked to please not ride the course in reverse until it is switched around on the 5th. The last thing anyone would want is to have a collision of riders resulting in injury. Please help make this work.
