What this means (called short track racing or maybe some would prefer calling it crit racing) is that the group starts and rides for the amount of time listed above. Some groups will ride for a specified time and then one more lap, some won’t. This race will not be electronically timed, winners determined by order of finish.
This is a great way for some family time – always wanted to be able to have your friends/family see you ride – this is the race for that since you will be visible for much of the race. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the time after the race at the park. No food vendor at race.
The course map will be put on the web as soon as approved by the City of Tempe. Basically is a non-technical course about ½ mile in length -- approximately 80% single-track and 20% double-track. Will not be marked until morning of event. Track closed to participants at 8:30 am. (MBAA reserves the right to modify the course if need be)

***NORBA has now mandated (as part of sanctioning) that non NORBA license holders must pay at least $5.00 more than NORBA license holders. MBAA regrets this but must adhere to the NORBA mandate.***
