TEAM LUNA CHIX WOMENS RIDE
Saturday and Sunday, March 24th and 25th, rides and clinics with Alison Dunlap will be held.
 |
Who is Alison? She is a former World Champion, World Cup Champion, National Champion, Olympic mountain biker. She has been with the Luna Chix Pro team from the beginning, and has played a big part in shaping Team Luna Chix. She’s very experienced at teaching clinics—her explanations of how to ride a mountain bike are fabulous! This is a great opportunity!
We’d love to have you join us both days, or, if that doesn’t work, please come as much as your schedule allows. $20 suggested donation for each day’s activities. All proceeds to go to the Breast Cancer Fund.

Finally, Sedona has some of the best singletrack anywhere. It all promises to be a great weekend!
The details:
Directions to get to McDowell Mtn Park are here
Remember that McDowell Mtn Park charges $5/car to get in.
We will be meeting at the competitive track parking lot. Once you enter the park, it is the first driveway on your left, just a few hundred yards from the park entrance. The weather is looking perfect, low to mid-70s!
Bike and Bean
This bike and coffee shop is on the west side of highway 179, just across from the Bell Rock parking area. They have limited parking at the shop, or you can park at Bell Rock. If you park at Bell Rock, be sure to have a Red Rock pass, which you can buy from Bike and Bean. It is $5 for a one day pass.
We will be meeting the Safeway on the SW corner of Elliot and 48th St in Ahwatukee/Phoenix to carpool at 6am, or you can meet us at Bike and Bean at 9am. The weather is looking great, we might need jackets in the morning.
I’ve heard that some of you were at the trail work event this past weekend—awesome!
See you on the trails!
