Trail work opportunities throughout the state are usually available. MBAA is providing links to the following organizations so you can quickly check out what is going on in terms of trail work availability. Hopefully this will allow you to plan and pick a time and place that works for you. Give it a try.
If you want credit toward the MBAA Point Championship Series for the time you spend working on trails, please take a copy of the Trail Maintenance Form with you. Have it signed by the land manager/leader of the event and then mail it to the address on the form. Time spent from June of 2006 onward can be counted toward the 2007 point series (up until the deadline set forth in the 2007 race rules).
(Efforts are presently being made with the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County to see if any work dates might be possible).
If anyone knows of a work date event or a land management group that is need of trail work volunteers, please feel free to communicate such information to GenMBAA@earthlink.net
